Looking Back with Gratefulness
The year 2021 is almost over and we look back with gratefulness in what God has done in Israel this year. Through war and shifting governments God remains faithful. I want to mention a few of our answered prayers for this year:
– Through turmoil in the nation this spring, he has kept us safe.
– We were able to pay for the production of Daniela’s first worship album, hoping to launch by Spring 2022.
– We asked you to pray for our 1st grade son, who has had difficulty learning the Hebrew language. He is now progressing in his vocabulary every day and we were told is at the top of his class in reading Hebrew. This is a miracle!
– My (Matthew’s) personal secular work has been increasing in business, which in turn has been a financial blessing to our family.
– We have been able to continue paying tuition for our Hebrew class and advance in our learning.
We thank God for these and so much more that God has done in our lives. We have also seen God meet the needs of our congregation and community groups and faith is on the rise!

Community Growth
Our congregation is really exploding! We have new families and students joining us all the time, plugging in, volunteering, and participating in community groups. We have added a second children’s classroom to hold the large number of kids joining us on Saturday service. By the way, you can watch our weekly service at http://youtube.com/kkcherzliya.
One exciting aspect of community growth is the growing number of unbelievers who come around our community. Some are seeking and hungry for something, and they keep feeling drawn to us!
One of our favorite events to share Yeshua with unbelievers is our annual “Let There Be Light” Holiday celebration. We invite believers and unbelievers to our outdoor nativity to roast marshmallows over an open fire, drink hot cocoa, eat cookies, and sing Christmas carols. I share the true message of Christmas and the simple gospel. Please pray for the hearts of everyone who comes, that their ears will be open to hear, and the veil would be removed.
Our Needs – Hebrew Class
Our only major need right now is tuition to continue our Hebrew class. We just completed an intensive course mid-November. We would like to move on in January to continue with the next course, and the tuition is about $1400 per trimester. Any extra donations that come in will be used to cover these fees.
Worship Album
Just a reminder that we are expecting Daniela’s first worship album to be available by Spring of 2022! Praise God we have been able to pay our producer; now we are working on finishing some of the recording as well and finishing up production. Be on the lookout for more updates very soon!
