Hello friends! We are settling in to life in Israel once again. We flew in on August 26 and found our home in Herzliya, Israel. Much of these last three weeks have been spent getting over jet lag, finding some essentials for our shared house, and meeting the members of the Herzliya King of Kings Congregation. The congregation is a diverse mix of local and international believers from various denominational backgrounds, all worshiping the same Yeshua together. What a picture of heaven!
This very modern, tech-center city is a much different vibe than Jerusalem, so we are getting our bearings as to what and how the Holy Spirit desires to move through us. Daniela has begun to lead worship and will start meeting with the talented musicians and singers on the team. I will start working with the children very soon, and we are excited to see them grow! Yesterday, I enjoyed time with some of the young adults at a Bible study. I sense such a hunger for the Word of God!!
We are so thankful for the leadership here, our friends Pastor Daniel and Jalene, who have opened their home to us and help integrate us into the work God is doing. And thank you Destiny World Outreach Center and everyone that has given to us; it has allowed us so far to buy needs for our ministry center (so that we don’t have to sleep on floors and live out of suitcases!).
Please pray this month:
- That our family (including Alon) would get quickly adjusted here, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
- That we have God’s favor to make deep “God-Relationships” with members of this community.
- That God gives us wisdom on what to do in ministry. That it’s not just a bunch of clever “ministry machine” ideas but the living Wisdom – Yeshua leading us.
- That we get our phone SIM cards. One minor inconvenience has been the slowness of getting our SIM cards in the mail so that we can have an Israeli and American number. Please pray this is resolved quickly.
